現在大揺れの東京オリンピック状況に関し、Lick-Gがラップ曲を本日5月25日に完全無料配信で緊急リリース！
トラックは、父Hoodoo Fushimiの1987年作『ケンカおやじ』が34年ぶりに再発となったのを受け、世界の状況はこの歌詞の当時より良くなってはいないという思いから、アルバム・タイトル曲をサンプリングし、自身が制作。
日本語歌詞とともに、国内事情を知らない海外リスナーに向けて後半は英語歌詞となっている。
Lick-G has released a new song, Olympic Summer, immediately responding to the current critical situation surrounding the Tokyo summer Olympics. The timely track is distributed free of charge. This new song samples the title track from the recently reissued 1987 album “Kenka Oyaji” by Hoodoo Fushimi, who is Lick-G’s father. The lyrics for Kenka Oyaji described the world 34 years ago, but the situation has not improved, prompting Lick-G to write his own song for the world today.
Olympic Summer is written mainly in Japanese, but incorporates English lyrics to give non-Japanese listeners an idea of what is happening in Japan right now.
